Hallå,

it's been quite some time since last time, but here's another amazing release: the stunning debut 7" from Lögnhalsmottagningen (ymr031). Even though the bandname might be difficult to pronounce even in the native Swedish tongue LÖGNHALSMOTTAGNINGEN is the collaborative effort of Stewart Anderson (instruments, Boyracer etc) and Martin Cannert (vocals, The Faintest Ideas).

Drawing deeply on Martin's impeccable knowledge of Swedish punk and hardcore and Stewart's insatiable thirst for the DIY punk pop adventure, this 7 song EP was recorded through the post during Summer 2007 after the initial concept was born and pursued to a satisfying conclusion.

The songs come at you at 100 mph:- 7 songs in 8 minutes, hardcore DIY punk, tight and taught, (with too much treble).

An already anticipated release by those in the know, this small run edition of just 300 numbered copies is split between 4 labels:- 555 (USA), Promenade (Swe), Slumberland (USA) and Yellow Mica (Swe). We have just 50 copies, so get your copy while they last, and pick up the "Wearing our punk rock hearts on our sleeves" if you haven't done that already as we're running very low on that release.

the new ep from let's be honeys is now out, get it from the shop, or from our distributors.

and some sad news; due to higher prices on everything that we need to make the cd-rs, well have to rise the prices a bit on the new releases. sad but true, as metallica once sang. on the good side, the records will look better from now on.

we have great news for those of you who don't have a complete javelins collection; the 4 first ep's + some more stuff are now available as a compilation called "terrific times and unrehearsed crimes". it's released by the great swedish label melodrama. you'll also see a bunch of (un)flattering pictures of the boys in the band when you lay your eyes on the insert. be part of the fun and get if as fast as you can.

and some ymr news as well; the long awaited ep from let's be honeys will be out within two weeks, and kin is on his way with a new ep, the capstan shafts is recording new stuff for us and the haircuts will release their full-length album on yellow mica early this year.

uhm, what else...? we're still waiting for the diskettes to make the cover for their live album, but i'm sure it'll be out one of these days.

everything else is old news, but you can still read it here.
