(Songs For) The Morning surely exists within the extraordinary spaces between the languid, organic beauty of Gene Clark's White Light and the edgy future-pastoralism of Boards of Canada.

From the idyllic intro to Meets Guitar's hazy work, we knew a song-cycle was born. Five fleeting pieces, reflecting morning across the seasons, brought into the light by the deft production and subliminal field recordings of Michael Jones. Fragile connections are revealed.
