Tafra is the solo project of Niklas Tafra. He was raised in Jönköping, Sweden, by two librarian parents, started playing in bands at the age of eight and has been doing so ever since. Tafra lives in London since four years back, after having spent six years in Stockholm, where he, amongst other things, was a part of the instrumental rock band Chloe. Nowadays, when not spending far too much time watching Seinfeld, he also writes and records music in his bedroom studio.
Tafra was a guest on Suburban Kids With Biblical Names album "#3" playing the trombone.
The story of the song "I'm sorry, Bräkne-Hoby" (Niklas Tafra was supposed to play bass with Suburban Kids With Biblical Names at that festival, but overslept, and made this song shortly after)
After having released a self titled EP on Canarie Records, the single "I'm sorry Bräkne-Hoby" on Cosy Recordings, Tafra is now to release a full-length album on the Nebraskan label Series Two Records.
