Pigeon Lane" started in 2006. It started after Thomas felt sick of all his Band Projects, because at some Point he decided, that his music should sound the way he hears his music in his head. So he locked himself in his Living room Recording Studio in Cologne- Ehrenfeld and recorded his Songs in his own unique way.
After a view songs were recorded, he decided that he needed a Piano Player. So Thomas asked Nadine to join the Project. He knew Nadine from his former Band Projects and was sure, that her way of playing the Piano would fit well with the "Pigeon Lane" Songs. And... it was perfect.
After Uploading some Songs on myspace "Pigeon Lane" had their first gigs. At one of the Gigs they played as Support for "the weird ways" a very nice Band from their Neighborhood in Cologne. After the Concert Thomas asked the Singer, a very nice Girl, if she would like to sing one of his Songs together with him. That Song was "Wall of Blankets" and it's one of the Songs on the Debut CD. In July 2007 Thomas asked Marc to join "Pigeon Lane". Mark is a Colleague of Thomas and Thomas remembered that he had once heard Marc singing and playing Guitar and that Marc had a very good Voice. Marc joined the little Project and since then, "Pigeon Lane" has been complete.
At the End of 2007 the Album "How sweet, how kind..." was finished. So Thomas took some Photos that he had shot in Scotland and, with the Help of his Friend Tobi from Berlin, he did the Artwork. In 2008 "Pigeon Lane" played several Shows in Cologne, had three Articles in local Newspapers and a Student Magazine and finally their Debut Album "how sweet, how kind..."appeared on the lovely "Series Two Records".
