We got a pedal steel player! Little Adam has graced us with his charm. He also has his own music project called 'littles paia'. Check it out. In fact, everyone in the band has their own music projects going on. You should also check out Joe's 'a dog paloma' songs. He is just putting the finishing touches on his latest album recorded and produced by me.
we have a bunch of shows coming up in the next few months including one in Salt Lake City and one in Grand Junction Colorado. Check the shows page for that.
Other than that, we're just recording for the hhbtm singles installation with k record's tender forever and enjoying as the weather cools and the days get shorter.

So, I (we!) have a real deal backing band now! I cherry picked the best of the best of the denver players. So we have Nathaniel Rateliff on lead guitar, Joe Sampson on the bass and Ben Desoto on the drums. I of course play rhythm guitar and sing. Joe and Nate sing harmonies. We will be adding a horn section this spring. If you are a fan of "the band" or lynyrd skynyrd or the allman brothers I bet you will like the new band. Sadly, we can not yet afford to take a whole band out on the road so on this next tour it will be me with an acoustic guitar and Joe the Bass player playing bass guitar and bass drum.
Oh yeah! The tour! We have a southwest/west coast tour planned for March with good friend Adrian Orange (AKA Thanksgiving) and Joe Sampson Begat. Go check out the shows page for dates!

So check out the October issue of THRASHER MAGAZINE (out September 06). They did a nice little feature on the love letter band/BWC. In other news, the split 7" with nervesandgel is finally out and if you ordered one from me I PROMISE it will show up soon.
OH! How could I have forgotten. There is a backing band now! I'm talkin' drums, bass, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, organ, and a horn section. So look out for that shit in October.

In typical Colorado fashion spring time keeps showing up for a few days just to tease us before it runs away again forcing us to keep out our winter coats for week after week. On those few warm days (more to come soon I hear!) I’ve been skateboarding and playing with Onyx in the yard.
There have been some great reviews of the new album in the last few months. I guess people like it! You can read the new reviews at the press page. I did a live radio show called “phoning it in” over the phone from Denver to Boston. It was loads of fun and I might use the recording of it for a 7" record. So keep your ears to the streets for that one.
There is some Colorado shows updates on the shows page and look out west coast and southwest US. I’m comin’ atcha this May! Check back soon for details on that.
