Biography: After a musical silence of 7 years, Fay has dusted off her Hammond and teamed up with Allan Crockford (PRISONERS, PRIME MOVERS, JAMES TAYLOR QUARTET, SOLARFLARES: contributor to more than 25 albums of Medway mayhem), and a new rhythm section consisting of Darryl Hartley and Russ Baxter (drummer of the infamous DISCORDS, who made the Ramones seem melodic) to record a brand new collection of direct and powerful pop songs. Due to Fay's energetic hammond play and her charismatic vocals a comparison of early BRIAN AUGER & JULIE DRISCOLL songs comes to mind. Their music is open, raw and honest, recorded with a minimum of technical and musical adornment in a hot, dusty garage with Graham Day at the controls, combining the spontaneity and excitement of the classic Medway recording approach with Fay’s unfailing ear for classy pop hooks. Add her gutsy, soulful vocals and classic Hammond sound to an uncomplicated driving rhythm section and you get the perfect blend of pop energy captured on their so far two albums.
