<be text-friendly>
It's important for you to make your page function if your visitor can't see the images. It's true that hardly anyone has a browser anymore that doesn't do images, but tons of people still have terribly slow connections - at home we turn the images off if we're in a hurry to get some info on the web. Also, you must keep blind people in mind! They have programs that read the contents of the screen for them, so alt tags help them know what's going on.

So what does this mean? This means that you should make your page text-friendly. All of your images should have alt tags on them, so your visitors can tell what they are without loading them.

Also, if all of your links are images, you should have text links also. Check your page by clearing your cache, turning the images off in your browser preferences and loading up your page - can you tell how to find stuff?
