With influences that range from C-86 to Sarah Records bands such as Blueboy and East River Pipe to dreampop, New Year Ruse is a one-man home-recording project from London that offers a subdued, meditative pop filled with jangly guitars, spacey keyboards and personal lyrics.

Home recording project based in London, playing acoustic folk (and sometimes slightly countrified) pop with the odd electronic noises in the background.

Henry Morgans Solokarriär was the solo recording project of Christoffer Davidson who has played drums on the Celestial album “Dream On” (out on Skipping Stones Records) and is also one half of the Swedish folk-pop duo c/o Happiness. Under such moniker, between 2006 and 2007 Christoffer self-released e.p.’s and worked on a third one that never got finished and remained unreleased, until he decided to call it a day. This tape gathers all of the fine pop songs Christoffer ever penned and recorded and is intended both as a memory of this obscure new wave-influenced Swedish act and as a wish to see such a fine pop songwriter as Christoffer is back soon making more of such smart music again.

Anarchic and extravagant as it is, School Police’s music may catch you off-guard at first, but its unpredictable and exhilarating blend of indie, garage, Seventies’ power pop and Sixties’ Pet Sound will eventually blow you away.

Mellow pop from Sweden, with hints of folk and blues, that works as a perfect soundtrack for those warm Summer evenings spent dwelling upon the past and wondering about what the future holds while watching the sun as it sinks into the horizon and the fading colours of the twilight.

Featuring former members of Multisofa, Churrus plays a superbly crafted power pop along the lines of Teenage Fanclub with a sometimes rougher edge in a Guided By Voices vein.

Fabulous home-recorded shoegazing pop by a young lady from Chicago named Kristine (who is also a member of The Starlette Canvas). Memorable melodies wrapped into subtle noises and reverbs and Kristine’s sweet echoing vocals resound in nightly atmospheres filled with loneliness, melancholy and longing.
